Hello friends. In the previous section, we learned about Tata Motors. This time also we were talk about another famous Automobile company. This is one of the automobile companies that we are going to look at. It has a long way to go in India's glorious journey and on its path to progress. Of course it is Mahindra & Mahindra Group. Mahindra & Mahindra Automobile Company is a strong company in the present and future but before we talk about this, let us first know its history.

HISOTRY OF MAHINDRA AND MAHINDRA GROUP :

In 1945, J.C Mahindra and his friend M. G. Mohammed founded an iron and stall trending company and started their business from there. At that time the name of the company was Mahindra and Mohammed. J.K Mahindra was working in a good position in TALCO before starting his career. Ever since Mahindra and Mohammad started his career, he had to face many difficult situations as he had set up the company only two years before independence of India  Either the British dominated India and it was very difficult for the Indian people to run the industry. Mahindra, on the other hand, included his younger brother K.C Mahindra in his industry. And subsequently established the head office of the company in Mumbai.

 In just two years, India became independent. This was a matter of great happiness for India but it was a great loss. A. Mahindra had to digest big loss. Mahindra and Mohammad was now separated. Because after the independence of Pakistan, Mohammed became the first governor of Pakistan. In old age, J.K Mahindra past away by heart attack because of age . Even so, the Mahindra Company was handling them perfectly. And Mahindra was taking the company on a new path.

Later, the entire responsibility of the family came to Mr. Anand Mahindra (Chairman and Managing Director of Mahindra). But Anand Mahindra had a doctrine of self-reliance. He immediately completed his education without joining the Mahindra Company directly. He is also from Harvard University. After joining the Mahindra Group, on the strength of his skillful intelligence, he held a position in the Mahindra Group, and became the Chairman of the Mahindra & Mahindra Group.

MAHINDRA IN AUTOMOBILE SECTOR :

Let us now look at the important work done by Mahindra in the Automobile sector. Mahindra and the Mahindra Group started working in partnership with the American brand Jeep because License was in power in India at that time. Mahindra manufactured Jeep Company vehicles in India and sold them in the Indian and international markets. Later, he stopped this work and started making his own cars. All of you will be aware of MAHINDR MARSHAL & COMMANDER.

In 1919, MAHINDRA & MAHINDRA bought Gujarat Tractors from Gujarat Government and started a company called Grovemax Agri Equipment Limited. MAHINDRA AND MAHINDRA Company is famous for its sturdy and powerful vehicles. You will be well aware of their Scorpio and Bolero. This is the reason why we always call MAHINDRA AND MAHINDRA Group because Mahindra Company is contributing to a lot for brighter the Indian future by took part in Automobile, Commercial, Military, Light Motors, Bank, College, NGO etc.

Let me tell you a funny story. Which most people don't know is that the CEO of Mahindra said that he mentions the end of all his vehicles with the English letter O or zero. Because of the overwhelming response to Mahindra's Scorpio and Bolero, they decided to leave Mahindra Thar alone, as all their vehicles have the same name.

Mahindra's Scorpio and Bolero are vehicles that blend in with the Indian environment and are of great value to the average farmer. In rural areas, the one who owns these vehicles is known as a progressive and skilled person. This is because Mahindra has installed a powerful engine that will gives the Scorpio and Bolero the power of hundred horses.

 Mahindra was launched its popular car THAR in 2020 on the 15th of August. In fact, after the launch, Mahindra launched it on October 2 because there is a big thing behind it. Because on October 2, 2020, Mahindra & Mahindra Company completed 70 years. THAR is an off-roading vehicle that can go anywhere with its strength.

Mahindra's car is also known for its strong Body and powerful engine as in Global NCAP all its cars come out with four or five levels
