Hello friends and welcome to a new article. In the previous article we learned about Mahindra and Mahindra Group and if you haven't seen the article yet, be sure to check it out. As we mentioned in the previous article, in this article we are going to discuss about one such car company in the world which has a very influential history. We will see a glorious story of such a mighty empire built by an ordinary man on the strength of his intellect and stubbornness. That company is Ford. As per our plan, we will first learn about their history and then look at the work they have done in our automobile sector. So, let's turn it on.




History of FORD MOTOR COMPANY :

Ford, the founder of the Ford Company, was born on July 30, 1863, in the home of a farmer. As we all know, Henry had a mechanical curiosity from an early age. They used to open the thing first, it had all the technology in it and then they were connecting it right. This habit led him to a prosperous trader. Due to the situation at home, they could not continue their education. His parents tried their best to give him the full burden of farming, but Henry never got out of the machine and the research. They turned into a small garage. He was fascinated by the new compression engine. He was working in a watch shop at that time. He began his experiment by studying the whole of the engine. He began to work hard to repair the clock in the morning and his experiment in the evening.




 With hard work and effort, he built the car. In the evening, when it was getting darker and rainier, their car engines started for the first time. He was so happy that in the same rain he drove his car out onto the road. Her voice made all the neighbors look at her curiously. Her name is Ford Quadricycle Runabout.




 It was a time when vehicles could only be seen by the rich. Ford always thought that the poor could travel in the car of their dreams. Ford later sold the car and negotiated money for his next experiment. Thus, began Ford's journey in the automotive sector at DETROIT MICHIGAN. To fulfill his dream, one such vehicle that became the best-selling car in American history was the MODEL T. To do this, they had to rely on many powerful companies.

 

FORD MOTOR AUTOMOBILE JOURNEY :

We are now on a journey in the automobile sector of the Ford Company. Starting with the Model T, they made history by building many such vehicles one after the other. Let's take a look at Ford's expansion in India. Ford came to India in 1926. He immediately tried his best to establish his presence in India but due to some reasons and the increase in fuel prices in the United States, he lost a lot. Therefore, in 1956, they had to stop manufacturing vehicles. Ford, meanwhile, had to sell JLR, a jaguar and land rover, to cover its losses. we mentioned in our article how Tata bought such a big company from Ford.




 Ford entered into a trade agreement with Mahindra & Mahindra Group for a 50-50 deal to operate in India. This would benefit Ford and Mahindra in many ways. Both companies were enjoying equal opportunities on each other's platforms.


FORD CARS IN INDIA :

Now is ready to launch his cars in large scale. Ford launched their Escort in India in 1996 and discounted it in 2003. The Ford ICON was introduced in 1999. The car initially went low, but over time, sales have skyrocketed. MONDEO was introduced in 2001 and discontinued in 2006.

 





 This was followed by the launch of the Ford Fiesta in 2005. Along with this car, Ford also made a number of such reductions in India, but in 2015 it was discounted. We still see this car around us today.

 



There are also some Ford cars that are very popular in India like the Ford endeavour. It was launched by Ford in 2003 in India. She became so popular that Ford made a number of changes to her and launched a durable facelift model in India in 2020. The endeavour is an SUV. Coming in 4 X 4, this car has a 2.2 liter engine in hand. In fact, this car looks suitable for politicians and the people who enjoy nature beauty. In 2010, Ford launched the Figo a compact family car that is still popular.

Then in 2013, Ford launched the EcoSport. This car is still everyone's dream. Because it is a vehicle that adapts to an Indian environment. In 2015, Ford introduced its sedan car in India, the Ford Aspire. 





2016 was a very important year for Ford. Because Ford brought the American muscle car Mustang to India. Without any advertisements or publicity, this car became popular in India. The Mustang has a 5.0 liter engine that produces 395 bhp. This is actually the first love of sport car lover.




FORD MUSTANG GT


 In 2018, Ford introduced freestyle. There is a family car in which 1.5 liter petrol engine which produces 90 BHP. This is definitely a good car for those who are comfortable and have a low-cost car. 




Ford has revolutionized the automobile sector in India. Especially in the off roading area. Now a days Ford became one of the successful automobile company in world. Ford has established a strong foothold in India. And the expectation from them is that they will never leave their customers dissatisfied in the Indian market.
